Another update after a long silence! April just went by like that.. pfff.. and now its MAY! Can you imagine that?? MAY.. that means I would have worked FOUR months now.. Time sure flies when one's busy (no, not when one's having fun this time)..
Last Monday was super BUSY! It was the busiest day of my CAREER lol.. not that mine has been on for a long time.. but you get the picture?! We had so many people coming in, it was as if it was the end of the world. We did 510 scripts and by 9pm I was so tired it was NOT funny! One pharmacist assistant literally sat there and said "I had ENOUGH! I'm not doing anything anymore! I'm not putting away stock!"
And its not over.. we were busy up till today! Worst thing is I get so stress by the time I get home I can't stop eating! Take today as an example, got home quarter past 9 and I went crazy over cheese! I ate like 100g of fruit cheese and what does that translate into? 6 pieces of kraft cheese! Don't get the picture? Well, basically I ate a block of cheese that weighs like your mobile.. And that's excluding the crackers..
SO yeah.. work is FUN when it is NOT BUSY and I actually get to learn things.. not when I'm a ROBOT putting through 'thousands' of scripts a day! Like Mei Yun said, I shouldn't complain and should be thankful I've got a job lalalalalalalalala.. BUT I need to rant.. just today k..
And so I was ready to shower after a long day.. only to find that the hot water is broken, AGAIN! Same thing happened when I came home late on Monday.. and then again today.. If you've been following the blog, you'll find that hot water problem seems to follow us wherever we go, I'm only hoping the next place I move to is BETTER!

Feb/March - Life & I
Cant believe its been TWO months since I last updated my blog.. I thought working life would give me more TIME compared to when I was a student.. but I am DEAD wrong hehe!
It has been quite the TWO months actually.. in random order:
1) I'm into the third month of my traineeship program and its going well so far.. although at times I do feel like strangling the customers BUT i try to =)
2) I have decided to move as the current house is nothing but faults.. lots of faults..
3) I finally got my drivers license.. well, almost
4) I booked myself a holiday in June.. YAY!
5) Adelaide's heat wave is killing me.. literally, physically & mentally.. I don't care that last Wednesday we broke the heatwave record of 10 days over 35 degrees in an Oz capital city since 1988.. we NEED COOLER weather!!!
6) Our LG multiplied into TWO

7) Joon turned 23

8) I'm addicted to chocs and ice cream
9) Raynu left to work at Geelong, but will be seeing her when she's back for graduation in 2 weeks time
10) I got my uniform!
I'm still thinking whether I should maintain the blog? If its going to be a once-every-2 months-update kinda thing then it won't be worth the effort. 6 posts in a year, you gotta be kidding me.. Oh well, we'll see how it goes..

Last weekend
Last Sat we trainees had a quick meet up to exchange stories regarding work.. not that there were many stories to be shared.. I think everyone was just FLAT OUT after the 1st week! And who talks about work on a weekend anyway ;-)
Also a belated birthday wish to Adeline, who no longer IS the same age as me hehehe.. so I can call her aunty! Adeline.. if you're reading this.. I know I'm gonna get from you..
Signing off now.. I am looking forward to the weekend.. not exactly thrilled about working on Sat though..

Update
Its nearly 2 months since I last blogged and whoa.. SO MANY things has happened!!! I have:
1) Went back to Malaysia, eat, shop
2) BACK in Adelaide again
3) Graduated from Pharmacy! YAY!
4) Parents came and go
5) Moved to a new place
6) Started my traineeship at Brighton
SO once again, I'll let the pictures tell the story.
Victor Harbour - it was freezing that summer day! The temperature was like 10 degrees??? Not summer at all..
Cherries! I felt like vomiting after that! But I have to admit it was the BEST cherries I had and p/s: I stole dad's bucket ;-)
Wen, take care! My friend for 5 years.. housemate for 3 years.. we shall keep in touch.. I would miss hearing you and your clumsiness from upstairs =P
Time to say goodbye.. we were actually standing in front of "airport pharmacy", how ironic!
SO yeah.. I forgot to warn you of the picture overload hehe.

I'm HOME
I have been back in KK for SIX days and the days have gone by so QUICKLY!!! Arrived during the wee hours of Monday and not too long later was on my way up to Kundasang, where the base of Mt. Kinabalu was.
Had 10 relatives over and three cars (including my family) going up. We rented a bungalow and BBQ at night in the cold! It was hard to start the fire in the wind! Thank God many months of training in Oz winter weather did me good and I was least bothered by the cold weather!
Overall the trip up there was great, and even though I have seen the same scenery over and over again, and in Tassie as well, it was probably the company that made it FUN!
Anyways, will be off soon back to Oz.. should enjoy every minute I have in Malaysia, although the humid weather is a nuisance! I have still got lots more to eat and do!! I think my parents overdosed me with seafood.. prawns especially hehehe!

Tassie
I am back from Tassie and I have to say, the trip was better than I thought! Before going, everyone was telling me how boring the trip will be, that all I'll see was sheep after sheep after sheep..

But honestly, there weren't that many sheep, just along the way to the attractions.. PLUS the sheep was definitely not the highlight of our trip..
So I am SATISFIED. I won't bore you with the details as how I did previously with the Queensland backpacking trip.. just heaps of pictures and some description if you'll let me =))
Basically the trip was a short one, which included walking around Hobart city aimlessly.. snapping heaps of pictures at the Constitutional Dock where we also had our very yummy seafood dinner(s), a trip to Port Arthur (which I won't recommend if anyone don't fancy history), a trip up Mt. Wellington (gorgeous view of Hobart city + freezing weather), a trip to Coles Bay (where the breath-taking Wineglass Bay was, no wonder its one of the top beaches in the world!!!). We had to hike 30minutes in the rain to the top of the mountain to catch this view.. it was WORTH every sweat ;-)
By the way, we stayed at a very nice backpackers. If anyone is going to Hobart, I would totally recommend Central City Backpackers! Choose 3rd floor if you can =)
Speaking of which, the day we were leaving, just after we packed our bags.. and before I get to utter "I smell burnt toast".. the fire alarm went off! We had to evacuate the building and dragged all our belongings along. A fire engine arrived shortly to check out the cause, which I am sure the toast was the culprit.. Anywho.. we looked ridiculous standing by the road with our bags.. people were staring at us with the "how-on-earth-did-they-manage-to-save-everything-so-quickly" look. Some of the backpackers must have been awoken by the alarm coz they were wrapped in their comforter.
So that was my backpacking trip! Now.. Malaysia in THREE days!!!
**Warning** Photo overload ahead!
